Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.18: 1-2Praise be to Allah, Who has sent to His Servant the Book, and has allowed therein no Crookedness:
(He has made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,6:104'Now have come to you, from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): if any will see, it will be for (the good of) his own soul; if any will be blind, it will be to his own (harm): I am not (here) to watch over your doings.'A MiracleNoteQuran in its Arabic form is unchallenged in its rhythm and beauty. Quran challenges to those who disbelieve in it to produce a single chapter comparable to it (2:23,17:88). More than 1400 years have passed since Prophet Muhammad(Peace be upon him) and the challenge of Quran still remains.2:23And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.17: 88Say: 'If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.11:13Or, do they say: He(Muhammed) has forged it(Quran). Say: Then bring ten forged chapters like it and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
But if they do not answer you, then know that it is revealed by Allah's knowledge and that there is no god but He; will you then submit?Made easy54: 17And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?19: 97So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in your own tongue, that with it you may give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.44: 58Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in your tongue, in order that they may give heed.39: 28An Arabic Quran without any crookedness, that they may guard (against evil)Guidance To Mankind16: 64And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may make clear to them that about which they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.16: 89We have sent down to you the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah)..17: 9Surely this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a great reward21: 50And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it?45: 20These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith.To be Propagated2:160-161Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too).
Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth), these it is to whom I turn (mercifully); and I am the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.2:174Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book, and purchase for them a miserable profit,- they swallow into themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection. Nor purify them: Grievous will be their penalty.50: 45So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning!Protected by God15: 9We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).41: 42No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.GodMerciful20:5(Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority).55:1-4(Allah) Most Gracious!
It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.
He has created man.
He has taught him speech (and intelligence).2:163And your God is One God: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.7:156My mercy encompasses all things30:50Look then at the signs of Allah's mercy, how He gives life to the earth after its death, most surely He will raise the dead to life; and He has power over all things.6:54Your Lord has prescribed for Himself mercy, that whoso of you does evil through ignorance and repents afterward thereof and does right, (for him) lo! He is Forgiving, Merciful.25:60When it is said to them, 'Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!', they say, 'And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which you commands us?' And it increases their flight (from the Truth).Attributes2:255Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permits? He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He wills. His Throne does extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory59: 23-24Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will you (all) be brought back.10:106And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.17: 56-57Say: 'Call on those - besides Him - whom you fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them.'

Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access to their Lord, - even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of.23:117If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through!And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back.22: 11-13And among men is he who worship Allah (standing) on the verge, so that if good befalls him he is satisfied therewith, but if a trial afflict him he turns back headlong; he loses this world as well as the hereafter; that is a manifest loss.
He calls besides Allah upon that which does not harm him and that which does not profit him, that is the great straying.
He calls upon him whose harm is nearer than his profit; evil certainly is the guardian and evil certainly is the associate.His Signs12:105And how many a sign in the heavens and the earth which they pass by, yet they turn aside from it.
And most of them do not believe in Allah without associating others (with Him).41: 53We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?30: 20Among His Signs is this, that He created you from dust; and then,- behold, you are men scattered (far and wide)!30: 21And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.30: 22And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours: verily in that are Signs for the learned.30: 23And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and the quest that you (make for livelihood) out of His Bounty: verily in that are signs for those who hearken.30: 24And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise.30: 25And among His Signs is this, that heaven and earth stand by His Command: then when He calls you, by a single call, from the earth, behold, you (straightway) come forth.Favours35: 3O men! call to mind the favor of Allah on you; is there any creator besides Allah who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? There is no god but He; how then are you deluded away from the Truth?14: 34And He gives you of all that you ask Him; and if you count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful.27: 73Lo! your Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks.17: 87Surely His grace to you is abundant.31: 20Do you not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!16:78It is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when you knew nothing; and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections: that you may give thanks (to Allah).2:29It is He Who has created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He has perfect knowledge.How can you Reject ?2:28How can you reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that you were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will you return80:17-20Woe to man! What has made him reject Allah;
From what stuff has He created him?
From a sperm-drop: He has created him, and then mould him in due proportions;
Then does He make His path smooth for him;82:6-8O man ! what has betrayed you from your Lord, the Gracious one,
Him Who has created you. Not but for just ends and for a term appointed, did Allah create the heavens and the earth, and all between them: yet are there truly many among men who deny the meeting with their Lord (at the Resurrection)!Of Heavens and Earth42: 11The Originator of the heavens and the earth; He made mates for you from among yourselves, and mates of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of Him; and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.15: 85We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness.23: 17And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation.46: 33See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and never wearied with their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yea, verily He has power over all things.31: 11He created the heavens without any pillars that you can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs.45: 22And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged.Of ManIs it Creation or Evolution ? Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things.It is currently scientifically known that 80% of living organisms is water36: 36Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.ProphetsSend in all nations10: 47To every people (was sent) a messenger: when their messenger comes (before them), the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.16: 36For We assuredly sent amongst every People a messenger, (with the Command), 'Serve Allah, and eschew Evil': of the People were some whom Allah guided, and some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth).35: 24Verily We have sent you in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past).Choosen Persons22: 75Allah chooses messengers from angels and from men for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things).27: 59Say: Praise be to Allah and peace on His servants whom He has chosen (for his Message): is Allah better, or what they associate (with Him)?Came with Clear SignsWhen God appoints a Prophet he also gives him some clear signs or a miracle to convince his people that he is indeed the Prophet of God. For example, Moses (Peace be upon him) was given a wand which when dropped would become a snake (20:19) Or for Jesus (Peace be upon him) the ability to give life to a dead person in certain occasions (5:110) etc. These miracles are only evident only during the lifetime of that Prophet. But, for a prophet who God has decided to be the Last Prophet has to be given a miracle which a generation can pass on to the next and so on until the end of world. see Topic Quran->A Miracle57: 25We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice;7:101Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto you: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.64: 6That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: 'Shall (mere) human beings direct us?' So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.To be Obeyed4: 64We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, by the permission of Allah.4: 80He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah: But if any turn away, We have not sent you to watch over their (evil deeds).4: 69All who obey Allah and the messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship!Purpose of sending4:165-166Messengers who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the messengers, should have no plea against Allah: For Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
But Allah bears witness that what He has sent unto you He has sent from His (own) knowledge, and the angels bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness.21:107We sent you not, but as a Mercy for all creatures.2:213Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed.4:170O Mankind! The Messenger has come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: It is best for you. But if you reject Faith, to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.Some Prophets in QuranAdamnodLevel5Only a few verses about 4 prophets are included in this topic.2: 30Behold, your Lord said to the angels: 'I will create a vicegerent on earth.' They said: 'Will you place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- while we do celebrate your praises and glorify your holy (name)?' He said: 'I know what you know not.'Expulsion from Garden7: 19-25'O Adam! dwell you and your wife in the Garden, and enjoy (its good things) as you wish: but approach not this tree, or you run into harm and transgression.'
Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: 'Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest you should become angels or such beings as live for ever.'
And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.
So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: 'Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?'
They said: 'Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If you forgive us not and bestow not upon us your Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.'
(Allah) said: 'Get you down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time.'
He said: 'Therein shall you live, and therein shall you die; and from it shall you be raise2: 38We said: 'Get you down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.Choosen and guided20:122Then his Lord chose him, so He turned to him and guided (him).Children of Adam (mankind) honored17: 70We have honoured the sons of Adam; provided them with transport on land and sea; given them for sustenance things good and pure; and conferred on them special favours, above a great part of our creation.Ibrahim (Abraham)A modal16:120-122Abraham was indeed a model, devoutly obedient to Allah, (and) true in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah:
He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way.
And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous.4:125Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.11: 75For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.Preaches father and his companions19: 42-45When he said to his father; O my father! why do you worship what neither hears nor sees, nor does it avail you in the least:

'O my father! to me has come knowledge which has not reached you: so follow me: I will guide you to a way that is even and straight.

'O my father! serve not Satan: for Satan is a rebel against (Allah) Most Gracious.

'O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict you from (Allah) Most Gracious, so that you become to Satan a friend.'Reaction of his people19: 46-48(The father) replied: 'Do you hate my gods, O Abraham? If you forbear not, I will indeed stone you: Now get away from me for a good long while!'

Abraham said: 'Peace be on you: I will pray to my Lord for your forgiveness: for He is to me Most Gracious.

And I will withdraw from you and what you call on besides Allah, and I will call upon my Lord; may be I shall not remain unblessed in calling upon my Lord.29: 24So naught was the answer of his people except that they said: Slay him or burn him; then Allah delivered him from the fire; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.Musa (Moses)Gave the scriptureMoses is the most refered prophet in the Quran, only a few verses are mentioned here.17: 2We gave unto Moses the Scripture, and We appointed it a guidance for the children of Israel, saying: Choose no guardian beside Me.6:154We gave Moses the Book, completing (Our favour) to those who would do right, and explaining all things in detail,- and a guide and a mercy, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.21: 48In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,-Send unto Pharaoh with clear signs17:101And verily We gave unto Moses nine tokens, clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Do but ask the Children of Israel how he came unto them, then Pharaoh said unto him: Lo! I deem you one bewitched, O Moses.40: 26Said Pharaoh: 'Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!'44: 23-24So go forth with My servants by night; surely you will be pursued:
And leave the sea intervening; surely they are a host that shall be drowned.Isa (Jesus)Miraculous Birth19: 19-21When the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah gives you glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah).
She said: My Lord! How can I have a child when no mortal has touched me? He said: So (it will be). Allah creates what He will. If He decrees a thing, He says unto it only: Be! and it is.
And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel,
And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what you eat and what you store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if you are to be believersCreation likened to Adam3:59Lo! the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is.Only a Messenger5: 75The Messiah, son of Mary is but a messenger; messengers before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.4:171O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not 'Three' - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as ProtectorCalled for Worship of God43: 63-64When Jesus came with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), he said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which you differ. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me.

Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path.3: 79It is not (possible) for any human being unto whom Allah had given the Scripture and wisdom and the prophethood that he should afterwards have said unto mankind: Be slaves of me instead of Allah; but (what he said was): Be you faithful servants of the Lord by virtue of your constant teaching of the Scripture and of your constant study thereof.Not killed nor crucified4:157-158And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.
But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.3: 55(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering you and causing you to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing you of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me you will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein you used to differ.On day of resurrection5:116-118And when Allah will say: O Jesus son of Mary! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to You, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, you would indeed have known it; you knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in your mind, surely you are the great Knower of the unseen things.

I did not say to them aught save what you did enjoin me with: That worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when you did take me up, you were the watcher over them, and you are witness of all things.

If you punish them, then surely they are your servants; and if you forgive them, then surely you are the Mighty, the Wise.Only some mentioned in Quran40: 78And certainly We sent messengers before you: there are some of them that We have mentioned to you and there are others whom We have not mentioned to you, and it was not meet for a messenger that he should bring a sign except with Allah's permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgment was given with truth, and those who treated (it) as a lie were lost.Prophet MuhammedMentioned in Previous Scriptures7:157'Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper.'Sent to all mankind7:158Say: 'O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That gives both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) you may be guided.'Perfect Model for Believers33: 21You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.Behaviour68: 4And you (stands) on an exalted standard of character3:159It is part of the Mercy of Allah that you deal gently with them Were you severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you: so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment)9:128Now has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that you should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.Last Prophet33: 40Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.ReligionNo Compulsion2:256Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things.10: 99And if your Lord had willed, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; Would you compel men until they are believers?18: 29Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!88: 21-22Remind them, for you are but a remembrancer,
You are not a compeller upon them;We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind him by means of the Quran who fears My warning.109: 6(Say:) Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion.Made Easy2:185Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire for you difficulty22: 78He has not laid upon you an hardship in religion87: 8And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease.23: 62On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged.Five Pillars of IslamTestimonyof Oneness of God4: 36Worship Allah, and join not any partners with Him;See topic GOD->Oneness of Godof Prophethood of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)4: 79-80We have sent you (O Prophet!), to mankind as a messenger; and Allah is sufficient as a witness.
Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them.36:2-3By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,-
You are indeed one of the messengersSalat-Prayer11:114And establish regular prayers(salaat) at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord):4:103Surely prayer(salaat) is a timed ordinance for the believers.2: 45And seek assistance through patience and prayer(salaat) , and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones,29: 45Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer(salaat) ; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do.74: 42-47(Dwellers of Hell will be asked) 'What led you into Hell Fire?'
They will say: 'We were not of those who perform salaat prayer;
'Nor were we of those who fed the indigent;
'But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;
'And we used to deny the Day of Judgment,
'Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain.'FastingThe month of Ramazan is that in which the Quran was revealed, a guidance to men and clear proofs of the guidance and the distinction; therefore whoever of you is present in the month, he shall fast therein, and whoever is sick or upon a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire for you difficulty, and (He desires) that you should complete the number and that you should exalt the greatness of Allah for His having guided you and that you may give thanksZakath (Poor Due)2: 43And keep up prayer and pay the zakaath (poor-rate) and bow down with those who bow down.51-19And in their property was a portion due to those who asks and to him who is denied (good).My mercy encompasses all things; so I will ordain it (specially) for those who guard (against evil) and pay the zakaath (poor-rate), and those who believe in Our communications.2:271If you give alms openly, it is well, and if you hide it and give it to the poor, it is better for you; and this will do away with some of your evil deeds; and Allah is aware of what you do.Hajj (Piligrimage to Mecca)3: 97Pilgrimage(Hajj) thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures.22: 27-31God inspired to Abraham : 'And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to you on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;
'That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat you thereof and feed the distressed ones in want.
'Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House.'
Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Our meeting and are pleased with this world's life and are content with it, and those who are heedless of Our communications:
(As for) those, their abode is the fire because of what they earned40: 39(A believer said) 'O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last. '87: 16-17Nay! you prefer the life of this world,
While the hereafter is better and more lasting.Made Alluring3:14Beautified for mankind is love of the joys (that come) from women and offspring; and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and horses branded (with their mark), and cattle and land. That is comfort of the life of the world. Allah! With Him is a more excellent abode.2:212The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.18: 46Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world: But the things that endure, good deeds, are best in the sight of your Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes.A Trial2:155.Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,
Who say, when afflicted with calamity: 'To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return':-

They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.21:35We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. To Us must you return.Can be enjoyed lawfully28: 77And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers.39: 10Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure.7: 31-32O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink : be not extravagant; surely He does not love the extravagant.

Say: Who has forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He has produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He has provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand.He it is Who has made the earth subservient unto you, so walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection .Promise of ResurrectionA Promise unfailing21:104On the day when We will roll up heaven like the rolling up of the scroll for writings, as We originated the first creation, (so) We shall reproduce it; a promise (binding) on Us; surely We will bring it about.36: 78-79And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, 'Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?'

Say, 'He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!-50: 44The Day when the Earth will be rent asunder, from (men) hurrying out: that will be a gathering together,- quite easy for Us.22:5-7O mankind! if you have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that you may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), You see the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

This is so, because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things.

And because the hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and because Allah shall raise up those who are in the graves.Rejecters reaction34: 7-8The Unbelievers say (in ridicule): 'Shall we point out to you a man that will tell you, when you are all scattered to pieces in disintegration, that you shall (then be raised) in a New Creation?

'Has he invented a falsehood against Allah, or has a spirit (seized) him?'-Nay! those who do not believe in the hereafter are in torment and in great error.16: 38-39They swear their strongest oaths by Allah: (that) Allah will not raise up him who dies. Yea! it is a promise binding on Him, quite true, but most people do not know;
So that He might make manifest to them that about which they differ, and that those who disbelieve might know that they were liars.45: 24-26And they say: 'What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.'

But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, 'Bring (back) our forefathers, if what you say is true!'

Say: 'It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt':
But most men do not understand27: 68The Unbelievers say: 'What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)?

'It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients.'17: 49-51They say: 'What! when we are reduced to bones and dust, should we really be raised up (to be) a new creation?'
Say: '(Nay!) be you stones or iron, Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall you be raised up)!' then will they say: 'Who will cause us to return?' Say: 'He who created you first!' Then will they wag their heads towards you, and say, 'When will that be?' Say, 'May be it will be quite soon! 'DeathTo Every Soul62: 8Say: 'The Death from which you flee will truly overtake you: then will you be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that you did!'3:186Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.56: 60We have ordained death among you and We are not to be overcomeNo averting30:43Set you your face to the right Religion before there come from Allah the Day which there is no chance of averting63: 10-11And spend out of what We have given you before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: My Lord! why did you not respite me to a near term, so that I should have given alms and been of the doers of good deeds?

But Allah does not respite a soul when its appointed term has come, and Allah is Aware of what you do.Day Of JudgmentIs NearNoteBy the command of God, all the current creation will come to an end and afterwards all the people will be resurrected for the judgment to decide their eternal fate.70: 6-7They see the (Day) indeed as a far-off (event):
But We see it (quite) near.40: 18Warn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to.21:1-2Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away.
Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest,-Every One resurrected18:47And the day on which We will cause the mountains to pass away and you will see the earth a levelled plain and We will gather them and leave not any one of them behind.19:95And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment.6:94And certainly you have come to Us alone as We created you at first, and you have left behind your backs the things which We gave you, and We do not see with you your intercessors about whom you asserted that they were (Allah's) associates in respect to you; certainly the ties between you are now cut off and what you asserted is gone from youWordly Life is felt short30:55On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!10:45And on the day when He will gather them as though they had not stayed but an hour of the day, they will know each other. They will perish indeed who called the meeting with Allah to be a lie, and they are not followers of the right direction.79:46The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn!17:52'It will be on a Day when He will call you, and you will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little while!'23:112-114He will say: 'What number of years did you stay on earth?'
They will say: 'We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account.'
He will say: 'You stayed not but a little,- if you had only known!Description2: 48And be on your guard against a day when one soul shall not avail another in the least, neither shall intercession on its behalf be accepted, nor shall any compensation be taken from it, nor shall they be helped.16:111The Day when every soul will come up struggling for itself, and every soul will be recompensed (fully) for all its actions, and none will be unjustly dealt with.39: 60And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah; their faces shall be blackened. Is there not in hell an abode for the proud?22:1-2O mankind! fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible!
The Day you shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): you shall see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.80:34-37That Day shall a man flee from his own brother,
And from his mother and his father,
And from his wife and his children.
Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others).18: 48And they will be marshalled before your Lord in ranks, (with the announcement), 'Now have you come to Us (bare) as We created you first: Nay, you thought We shall not fulfil the appointment made to you to meet (Us)!':45: 28-29And you shall see every nation kneeling down; every nation shall be called to its book: today you shall be rewarded for what you did.
This is Our book that speaks against you with justice; surely We wrote what you did,Reaction of those who denied36: 52They shall say:'O woe to us! who has raised us up from our sleeping-place? '
This is what the Beneficent Allah promised and the messengers told the truth.32: 12If only you could see when the guilty ones will bend low their heads before their Lord, (saying:) 'Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard: Now then send us back (to the world): we will work righteousness: for we do indeed (now) believe.'78: 40A day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: 'Would that I were dust!'42: 45And you shall see them brought before it humbling themselves because of the abasements, looking with a faint glance. And those who believe shall say: Surely the losers are they who have lost themselves and their followers on the resurrection day. Now surely the iniquitous shall remain in lasting chastisement.2:166-167Then would those who are followed clear themselves of those who follow (them) : They would see the penalty, and all relations between them would be cut off.
And those who followed would say: 'If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us.' Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.Record of Deeds given18: 49And the Book (of Deeds) will be placed (before you); and you will see the sinful in great terror because of what is (recorded) therein; they will say, 'Ah! woe to us! what a Book is this! It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!' They will find all that they did, placed before them: And not one will your Lord treat with injustice.69:19-21Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, he will say: Lo! read my book:
Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning.
Then he will be in blissful state69:25-29But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book
And I had not known what my account was:
Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me!
Of no profit to me has been my wealth!
My power has perished from me!3: 30On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him.Perfect justise established36: 54Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and you shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds.10:44Surely Allah does not do any injustice to men, but men are unjust to themselves.95: 8Is not Allah the best of the Judges?45: 30-33Then, as for those who believed and did good works, their Lord will bring them in unto His mercy. That is the evident triumph.
As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people.
And when it was said: Lo! Allah's promise is the truth, and there is no doubt of the Hour's coming, you said: We know not what the Hour is. We deem it naught but a conjecture, and we are by no means convinced.
And the evil (consequences) of what they did shall become manifest to them and that which they mocked shall encompass themLife of HereafterParadisenodLevel436: 55-56Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do;
They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity);32:17No person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them - as a reward for their (good) deeds.41: 31-32you shall have therein what your souls desire and you shall have therein what you ask for:
A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful !25:75-76Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace,
Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest!6:127They shall have the abode of peace with their Lord, and He is their guardian because of what they did.4: 57But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening.4:122(it is) a promise of Allah, true (indeed), and who is truer of word than Allah?15: 47-48And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity).
There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave.Responce of dwellers39: 74They will say: 'Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!'35:33-35And they will say: 'Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving Ready to appreciate (service): '
'Who has, out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: no toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein.'
7: 43And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: 'Praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us.'Hell16: 29'So enter the gates of Hell, to dwell therein. Thus evil indeed is the abode of the arrogant.'4: 56Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.17: 97Their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.20: 74Verily he who comes to his Lord as a sinner (at Judgment),- for him is Hell: therein shall he neither die nor live.23:103-104But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide.
The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced.67:8-11(Hell will be) Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, 'Did no Warner come to you?'

They will say: 'Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): you are only in a great error.'

They will further say: 'Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!'

They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire33: 66-67The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: 'Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!'

And they would say: 'Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.N=NO=N	O

Allah is not a Islam specific word, and is used by all Arabic speaking people to refer to GOD (see Quran 16:35, 9:30 etc. where Quran quotes non-muslims using the word ALLAH). Quran uses ALLAH to refer to GOD and through out this program also God is refered to as ALLAH.

2) Any translation of the Quran cannot be equated with the Quran in its original Arabic form. But it is only a means to give a glimpse of the Quran to those unfamiliar with Arabic language.

3) The classification of topics and verses in this program is in no way perfect or complete. Many important topics have not been included in this progam. This program's aim is only to give a brief introduction to Quran.

Using DivineQuotes

Clicking any topic on the left side will display all the subtopics and verses coming under it.
