Miswak Project

It’s a ‘brush’ that will revolutionise your ‘teeth’ and health. Not just a brush, but also a ‘spiritual’ boost too. Read, find out below and order one for free.” (A suggested introduction on the homepage)
Aim:
This is a dawah project (via a website) that the author wishes to ‘bring about’ and with the help of others (including yourself), will do so. It’s a concept of ‘promoting the sunnah’.
There are 2 sides to this project;
1) Free miswak; Users will be able to view the website and order a miswak for free, absolutely free (i.e 2 per household)
2) Resource: Users will be able to find ‘everything’ about miswak (i.e hadiths, scientific literature).
The website and project is a way to promote this void and missing sunnah. We all know something about the miswak, and some of us don’t use it, a lot of people are in this middle situation, were they know, but do not use it. With this project, it might help raise awareness amongst muslims and non muslims about this blessed sunnah, by giving it in the path of Allah, for free and by collecting and presenting information about this sunnah to the world.
Details of project
As this project involves a lot of tasks and activities. It requires people to help in certain ways and methods. It will be explained below.
Articles.
As the website and project will need literature to put on the website and to print and give out (if needed), there is a requirement for those who wish to play a part in this project to contribute.
Those who wish to help this project in regards to articles, then, you are most welcome to do so. If you wish to help by locating articles, hadiths, scientific research, historical research, e.t.c anything that is relevant to this project (miskwak), please do so via the following methods.

The more articles are given, the better the project and website will be. If you have any, a quote, a page, a thesis, anything which will help, please do assist in this project and be part of it and reap the rewards, insha-allah.
These are some of the basic requirements to articles and literature. If you have any relevant to the section, please contact this project and play a part in it.
Quran; Literature concerning the cleanness and its importance.
Hadith: About the miswak, the rewards and the recommendation by the prophet (saws)
Scholarly Opinion: Literature from books of scholars of islam, who have written the benefits, the methods, the rules, etc regarding the miswak.
Scientific: Literature concerning recent, and previous research that has taken place with the miswak, its physical benefits, its usage.
Historical: Literature about the miswak’s history, were it came from, were it is grown, and recent figures about its usage (age, country e.t.c)
Funny stories: There are some stories, which are funny, yet have a moral to it.
Usage: Methods of using it, how best to use it.
More sections if required. If you have any, please do suggest it and it will be added. If you have any relevant hadith, article that could be placed upon those sections, please e-mail sadiq@sadiqweb.com.
Donation.
If you wish to help this project financially, that is another option. As the main aim of the project is to ‘give miswak free’, there is a cost to buy and send it too. There is no ‘set’ amount to give, and it is open to anyone who wishes to receive the reward of promoting this blessed sunnah. No money will be taken by anyone in the project, and all will be used to buy/send free miswak to people.
There are 2 ways to pay;
1) Online, using the paypal service. 2) Cheque or cash.
As those who have seen this project have suggested, there should be a ‘continuous’ to the contribution, as deeds that are continuous are favored more than ‘one day’ deed. So those who wish to contribute by ‘monthly’ donations, however much you wish to give that is another option. One can give a large sum, a small sum or continuous donations. Up to you. Details concerning cheque donations will be placed upon the website, when fully functional. Those who wish to donate, they can e-mail sadiq@sadiqweb.com or contact me face to face, to arrange donation.
Promoting.
As this will be a rewarding project, as promoting this great and missing sunnah to the muslims and non muslims alike. Promoting this project is vital to its usage too. Those who wish to help, can also help via promoting it.
This can be done via;
1) word of mouth, telling others about the website/project
2) leaflet distribution
3) sending e-mails about the project
4) banner/link exchange to those who have websites.

When we have the website for this miswak ready, we will contact each and every islamic website to help promote the work of this project. If you are webmaster, please e-mail me if you wish to help out somehow.
