Assalamualaikum and Greetings!
Hi guys,
I’m Cauchy an electronic engineer from MMobile Malaysia. We’re the first mobile phone R&D company in Malaysia and perhaps first in Muslim world as well. At the moment we found that there’s a “vacuum” in the mobile phone industry in terms of Islamic phone is concerned.
Therefore, we’re planning to design an Islamic Phone which an ideal phone for muslim but at the same time still serve as conventional phone which can be used by non-muslim.
For that purpose, we need your kind inputs to help us in realizing the first Islamic phone.
1) In your opinion what are the most important additional features apart from the basic phone function e.g. Phone calls, sending message/sms. Bluetooth, MP3 player, longer battery life perhaps?
2) What do you think are the features required in a phone for it to be called Islamic Phone. For your information, our first model M10 already featured a Qiblah direction compass and also prayer time for all major cities in the world.
3) Current best selling phones come with a sleek, thin and minimalist design. Like SLVR and RAZR from Motorola, SGH X820(Samsung) and Chocolate (LG). If given a choice between Great looking phone Vs Functional/features pack phone which one would you prefer ?
4) Which type of phone do you prefer? Slide,Candy Bar,Flip phone/ Clamp shell?
5) Do you feel QWERTY keypad is required in your mobile phone?
