A group of Maldive friends from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have initiated a project that shall help to preserve the beauty of the tourist islands. Some of them have visited the Maldives for more than 15 times. They all are very sensitive in their holidays when it comes to a thoughtful behaviour in the fragile ecosystem of the coral islands. But they all see many tourists that apparently have no idea about how fragile the world is that they just entered. Tourists standing on the reef, touching corals and animals under water, throwing away cigarette filters, wasting energy and water etc. Most of these tourists don’t do this intentionally.
