The Two Natural States of Muslim
One state of Muslim is the conscious Muslim following the religion as revealed to Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and as established by his leadership. This is the proper state of Muslim. However, there is another state of Muslim that was proper before this state came about, and that state is the natural inclination in God's creatures to obey Him. Therefore, Prophet Muhammed (SAW) said that everyone is born Muslim and he becomes Christian, Jew, or something else because of the situation he's put in. (If a baby is born in a Christian environment, more than likely the baby will come up Christian, etc.) But we believe the natural state of the human being is Muslim |
